Maybe you even hired a friend “who knows HTML”.And yet — the phone stays silent. The contact form gets no enquiries. And you keep asking yourself: “Why is no one getting in touch?”
The answer may surprise you — it’s not your offer that’s the problem. It’s the website.
This is a very common case.
Many business owners believe a website should be, above all, “nice looking”. And yes — there’s an animation, a nice stock photo from Pexels, a font straight out of a spa leaflet.
But the client doesn’t know what to click. They can’t see your phone number. They don’t clearly understand what you actually do.
Conclusion? Design without purpose is like an advert in the forest — it may look nice, but nobody sees it.
CTA stands for Call To Action — a button or line of text that tells the user what to do next:
👉 “Call now”👉 “Request a free quote”👉 “Book a meeting”
If your website ends with “thank you for visiting” or “check out our Facebook page” — it simply doesn’t work.
The user needs to be guided step by step.Otherwise, they just leave.
Almost 7 out of 10 people view your website on a phone. If the menu disappears, the text is microscopic, and images take a minute to load… congratulations.
You’ve just lost a customer before they even read the first sentence.
Your website must work perfectly on mobile. No discussion.
“Our holistic approach to synergistic service optimisation makes us an industry leader. ”Sounds familiar? That’s not your customer’s language.
On the other hand — if your text is written only for SEO and repeats “website design Łódź” eight times, that doesn’t work either.
You write for people, not robots. But robots still need to be able to find you.
Do you have a “News” section with the last post from 2021?A price list from before the pandemic? A photo of an office that no longer exists?
That’s a clear signal to the customer: “This company probably isn’t active anymore…”
No updates = slowly killing trust.
If you operate in Łódź, but your website doesn’t include words like “Łódź”, “Pabianice”, “Zgierz” even once — how is Google supposed to find you?
You’re creating a beautiful website…for someone who lives 300 km away.
A website is not a leaflet — you don’t create it once and forget about it.It needs updates, improvements and development.
Ideally, someone should be looking after security, SEO and fresh content.
Because it’s not about having a website —it’s about making sure it works for you.
Ask yourself one simple question:If you were a customer and landed on your own website — would you trust this company?
If the answer is no… you already know what to do.
